It's been a week since I got back from the Edinburgh Fringe. So many ups and downs. I miss it a lot. I'll do a good ol' rambling entry of my trip if I'm ever in the mood, but now I'm just terribly terribly lethargic. Work is tiring me out more than usual and my sleeping hours are whacked.

I finally finished Bioshock Remastered oh my god. The ending was... underwhelming? The boss fight wasn't even a thing! I much more enjoyed the journey I made throughout the game. It was an enjoyable FPS with a damn good setting and great worldbuilding. I don't think I'll ever have the time to replay it, but y'know, it was cool while it lasted.
I'll probably start on another game soon, maybe LIMBO or Transistor...
TELEVISION
Finished Quacks within a couple of days! It was pretty good! I mean, the premise alone is enough to draw me in because yay medical science dork, but as a person who is pretty apathetic about period dramas/sitcoms, I really liked it. The cast was A+.
What else have I watched??? Oh yeah, caught up with The Mash Report. It's alright as a general political satire show thing. But mainly I was watching for MY ANDREW HUNTER MURRAY, who I must say looks rather ravishing............ as usual. God I miss seeing that man's face in person, I really wish I had stayed in Edinburgh a little bit longer just to catch a few more performances of Folie a Deux. Definitely gonna be my plan if he does it again next year ♥ But YES, his segments on The Mash Report are so cringingly hilarious -- how does that man manage to keep a straight face?! Even Nish was corpsing all over the place throughout the show. Andy, you're such a star ((The Killers start playing in the background))
Also watched the pilot episode of the new Duck Tales! Such a great art style!!! And I love how they've updated the various characters' backstories. David Tennant as Scrooge was just a very lovely bonus icing on the already wonderful cake. Really looking forward to further episodes!
PODCASTS
I've mostly been listening to Sofie Hagen's Made Of Human podcast while I was in Edinburgh. Even gushed about it to her for a bit and both of us got a bit overwhelmed by the short conversation... amazing... I love her to bits though, she's wonderful and the podcast is wonderful. I'm still very behind but some of the guests on the future episodes look amazing.
I'm a bit annoyed that I didn't get to any of the RHEFP recordings while I was up there, especially the one with John. WHY did he schedule that on the last week, after I went home? But by god, the episode with James Acaster is absolute gold. How the fuck does that man get into all those scrapes. He's so fucking funny and, well, a bit tragic. He's an incredible comedian and his book sounds amazing, can't wait to get my hands on it.
Dunno if I mentioned this before, but Short Cuts with Josie Long is such a quality podcast. Unfortunately I mostly save it for bedtime listening and end up falling asleep, ehehe..
should probably get to bed soon, eh. work tomorrow and all that.
