the end of the year/decade approaches, which can only mean one thing... everyone posting about their ~~highlights of the year(s), and lists.. so many lists.
it's been a pretty decent year for me, with some great experiences and life improvements.
but yes, onto the main point of this post:

Not exactly an "albums of 2019" collage, more of "albums that I got into in the year 2019 (even though most of them were released flippin' ages ago)". i think only the manics, busted and bastille ones were actually released this year lol. then there's the 'tv shows with excellent soundtracks' category - i've rambled about the young pope on this blog before; defending the guilty didn't have an OST per se, but i dedicated a good few hours of my life shazam-ing and compiling songs from the show on spotify and later mp3. lungs celebrated its 10th anniversary this year i think... and jeff rosenstock is on there because of bloody acaster
as for books,

i completed my goodreads challenge (and then some)! hoorah! still doesn't put a decent dent in my To Read list, but progress is progress. there's a couple of play transcripts and one (1) comic book to make up the numbers; speaking of which, the archie comic reboot is actually pretty good?? extensively better than how the TV show turned out, anyway.. i might get further volumes (+ the jughead series) if i ever see them on sale again
that's all for my lists, i think! on to 2020 - where in addition to the goodreads challenge, i'll also be ticking off the popsugar reading challenge and also this book bingo
