pointless update
Mar. 3rd, 2019 08:27 pmi'm going on a roadtrip later this week, which is both exciting and terrifying

so much potential of getting lost in rural sabah there. it'll be my first time driving in mainland borneo as well (previously only went there via ambulance escorts and uber-related car services). i'm meeting up with my family in kota kinabalu too, followed by a few days chilling out in a beach resort. aw yih!
only things to worry about: lack of phone signal, measles/dengue/malaria/hepatitis outbreaks, and driving my car off a damn mountain. forever an optimist, me
other than that, there's been career anxiety! lots of colleagues moving in and out of departments, whilst i count down the days til i submit my transfer request back to peninsular malaysia. fingers crossed...
what else have i been doing..?
TELLY
i enjoyed the True Detective finale a lot! some people (probably the same ones feverishly coming up with massive plot conspiracy theories lol) criticised it for being anticlimatic but i liked that roland and hays got a happy ending together LIKE THEY WERE MEANT TO
also just started watching Secret Scotland which is hosted by Susan Calman a.k.a. the most precious person in the worldddd. there's so much of that country that i haven't explored and i hope i get to do so in future! i've only ever been to edinburgh (duh), glasgow, and skye. it's an absolutely gorgeous place
VIDEOGAMES
still playing Tooth & Tail, and slowly getting addicted to the game play... i like the real time strategy aspect, but i'm terrible at the quickfire part. i'm more used slowly expanding bases and armies like in red alert/starcraft/warcraft 3 so i end up losing a lot lol. at least each game only last a few minutes so it doesn't feel like it eats up a lot of my time
MISC
so, uh, mark watson's 26.2-hour comedy marathon was a thing? i won't go on too much but here a plug for my fundraising thingie!

i'm selling prints of myextremely niche doodles over here. i'm already wondering what the print shop people are going to make of my sprout drawings...
