quickfire update!

peiyenjust me typing out stuff that i've done in order to feel more productive
chinese new year was fine. hung out with extended family, got really depressed, saw my therapist again, then spent last weekend getting sick -- like proper sick with fever and chills and throwing up everything i ate. it's been a WHILE since i'd been that ill, it happens maybe like once every 1-2 years. i ALMOST took emergency leave off work and that was how bad it got lol. still ended up working a full on-call shift from sunday-monday though. i didn't throw up on any patients.
stomach bug has now made way for acute pharyngitis over the past couple of days, which has left my throat super itchy and sore and my main diet is now soup and porridge. at least i have the weekend off to recuperate!
yesterday i realised my credit cards were near their expiry date and it gave me such a sudden overwhelming sense of existential dread hmm. why is adulting hard.
anyway
VIDEOGAMES
i finally finished Ni No Kuni 2 and it only took me...70-80 hours? saw the ending coming but it still made me cry ;; roland don't go
i'm now going through my leftover side quests and the DLC stuff, which might give me another dozen hours of gameplay haha. might move on to another game after i get bored..
TELLY
latest season of True Detective is actually really good?? i found myself super intrigued by the cliffhangers and looking forward to the following week's episode which is honestly rare these days. the skipping between timelines is nicely done and of course mahershala is absolutely killing his role

i am otherwise EXTREMELY behind on everything else
i did catch big bro watching House Of Games though, which was fun (it was the week with Herring!) i think it's the type of show i'll watch if it happens to be on, but the daunting number of episodes means i'll probably never actively download them...
